I’m excited to join this community and share an innovative idea. Inspired by Jon’s success with his light switches, I’m contemplating the creation of an in-house call system. I’m curious if there is a straightforward method to implement this concept.
The envisioned setup involves placing four buttons strategically in various areas of the house. These buttons would be connected to a central hub, perhaps located in the living area, featuring an LCD screen and a 12v light that flashes in response to a button press. The screen would then provide information on which button was pushed.
I’m seeking advice on the feasibility of this setup. Is it relatively straightforward, and how challenging would it be to implement over an Ethernet connection? Your insights and guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
